Zee Oil I n a world that prepares you to work for someone else, one Jacksonville mom is teaching her daughter about the exciting journey of entrepreneurship. Tiffany and Zuri Poole, the cute Mother and daughter duo, started their own businesses just a few short months ago.
“I started a company called Zee Oil and I named it after my daughter. We started about seven months ago,” says Tiffany. “My daughter’s hair wasn’t growing so I added old remedies to her hair and it started growing. From there, people asked me about the oils and then I started a business.”
Put A Ring On It
Zuri was so inspired by her mother’s journey. She asked for her own business and gave it quite a catchy name, Put A Ring On It. Put A Ring On It is Zuri’s personal phone accessories hustle. She sells phone mounts and rings which helps prevent phones from breaking.
“I want people to think of me when they buy my phone accessories. Just know that I’m a nice person,” she says.
I asked the duo about the challenges they have encountered thus far. Tiffany says having a business may be tiring, but building generational wealth is important.
Both business owners agreed that failing builds character, and the opinions of others should not deter your dreams.
“Failing is the number one step to having success and don’t be afraid to put everything out there,” says Zuri.
When they are not working, they enjoy shopping and dining at Jacksonville’s luxury Malls such as the St. John's Towns Center and The Avenues.
What’s next for Tiffany and Zuri? They plan to take over Jacksonville one person at a time, or in their case, two business ventures at time.
