up close and personal with charlamagne tha god
We got a chance to get up close and personal with Charlamagne Tha God as he promoted his new book, Black Privilege. Known as the "Prince of Pissing People Off", he graced the stage alongside 93.3's The Beats, TeeRoy, and gave us a little insight into his life. This sensation broke into the radio business in 1998 after he spent time in and out of jail. After being released from several radio stations, he became part of the trifecta on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club.
The title "Black Privilege" emerged from Charlamagne's childhood. His father repeatedly empowered him to see color as a blessing, not a burden. "Black privilege is something spiritual," said Charlamagne. "It's something that's powerful."
The Southern Carolina native ended his session with a few words of advice to millennials: "Keep God first, stay humble, and work hard."

Fans began trickling in thirty minutes prior to 3pm. Hundreds gathered to worship with Gospel sensation Marvin Sapp, as he performed their fan favorites such as "Never Would of Made It" and "The Best In Me." Sapp also performed a phenomenal single called "Listen" from his new album Close, which released on September 29. This concert was certainly worth every bit of excitement. The fans walked away feeling a little closer to their favorite gospel artist.
Disney channel's skai Jackson
You can't help but love Disney Channel's
role model, Skai Jackson. She blessed hundreds of children and adults with her presence as she signed autographs. She made small talk with them and offered hugs of gratitude. I'm not exactly sure what this beautiful young star is up to next. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. One thing's for sure, she has truly impacted and inspired many young people around the world. Cheers to you Skai Jackson!
